My parents, brother and I moved to the US from India in 1989 with just $20 each in our pockets and without a word of English. Like many families who come to the land of opportunities, we landed here with big dreams such as having a well-paying job, a nice home to live in, financial security and spiritual abundance.

We all had to play our roles so that we could realize our dreams one day. I used to go to school early in the morning and came back home by 3 in the afternoon. After school, I walked approximately 3 miles to work and worked from 4 PM – 12 AM Monday through Thursday. On weekends, I was even pulling 24-hour shifts if I had to. My brother was too young to work, but my parents initially worked in jobs at odd hours. I clearly remember that at one point, they worked in two jobs simultaneously with just 2-3 hours of sleep every day for over a month. We believe hard work and dedication are the pillars of any success you want to achieve. It is during times of struggle that life gives you a gift.

My phase of struggle started with the financial services industry in 1994 where I had to go through the grind for several years. I had to take my insurance exam seven times before I passed due to my poor comprehension ability in English. I had to take my investment exams a few times as well. I did not know how to make sales. I could not close any deals for several years. I was not only bad at sales, I was pathetic.

Despite all these difficulties, I had committed to self-improvement in the early stage of my career, and it paid off big time.

I have spent over $200,000 in self-help and as a result, I have been able to build a successful services business. I am able to close over 400% higher transactions than my industry average. I wrote an Amazon bestselling book “Sell Like Crazy” and I just finished my new book “Financial CHAKRAS®”. I became a keynote speaker for all Small Business Development Centers in Maryland, at major universities, and for 3 Congressmen. One Congressman was so impressed with what I said that he took the US flag, flew it over the capital and sent it to me as a special thank you souvenir.

Happily married for over 21 years, my wife and daughter mean the world to me. We also have a dog named Teddy.

I grew up with my grandparents and am fortunate to learn everything I can from my grandfather about business, finance, family, yoga, meditation, chakras, religion and philosophy.

Today, right now, I get to meet you as you read this. I get to meet you and help you on your journey. I get to make an impact in ways you and I never imagined possible.
